Eric loves to be a part of emerging businesses! In his 30 year career in the movie exhibition industry he has worked with some of the largest exhibition companies in the world, holding varied roles as Director of Operations, Director of Foodservice to Chief Administrative Officer. His commitment to the exhibition industry has garnered him a cover and feature story with Pro-AV magazine and he was featured in an article in Candy Industry magazine. Eric has been honored with multiple awards for his cost control, budgeting and revenue development. He is a highly sought after consultant in the exhibition industry having consulted for AMC Theatres, Harkins Theatres and Santikos Theaters as well as consultant to the Phoenix Art Museum to launch their film series. His “see as a customer” approach has delivered huge financial gains for all his clients willing to change the very old assumptions from early business eras. His vision became instrumental and he was the chief architect in developing the digital cinema pre-show as well as working with Studios and record labels to bring their first pre-show content to theatre screens back in 2003. He launched the HDN (Harkins Digital Network) for Harkins theatres in 2004 which is still being utilized today. Eric was Vice President of Sales for Screenvision – A national pre-show advertising platform and transformed their selling process into a more profitable, easy to sell program. Eric has served on non-profit boards including Chairman for the Phoenix Film Foundation as well as Director for PONY Baseball in Arizona. Eric has spoken at several industry panels from advertising to exhibition. Eric currently serves as Director Product Development for Harkins Theatres. His latest project was bringing Harkins Popcorn RTE (ready to eat) into retail stores here in Arizona and eventually nationally- the Harkins popcorn can currently be found all Fry’s, Bashas’ and AJ’s grocery stores as well as Circle K stores in Arizona and Nevada.
